My Camera is Being Stupid

So i just got my new camera yesterday and i absolutely love it.  i have been playing with it pretty much all day (apart from when i had to leave my house for various reasons).  The only problem is...my computer does not read that there is a camera when i plug it in.  It worked fine the first time i plugged it in but after that i stopped!  So i tried using a different camera to upload the photos and that camera didn't work ether.  I'm going to have a fun time figuring this one out =/
