I was bored in english

I take a leap of faith, and stand up in your name.
I close my eyes and breath you in, does the outcome really change?
All eyes fall upon me, as i lay down at your feet.
But how can i stand on my own?  Alone i am so weak.

I live through you, cause you live in me.
I will give my life, cause you set me free.
As you shape my heart, I will give you all of me.
So be my life, be my everything.

I ask you "give me courage", I ask you "give me strength".
Although it scares me sometimes, to feel alone in this place.
Judging eyes are on me, when i whisper your name.
My only hope is through me, I might bring you more fame.

I live through you, cause you live in me.
I will give my life, cause you set me free.
As you shape my heart, I will give you all of me.
So be my life, be my everything.

Um...adventure with Cece?

Well, so I'm writing this for Cece:

So it all started last night.  Ian and Ana came over and we had a movie night.  Apparently Ana does not like popcorn...cause she is a freak...and we watched 500 Days Of Summer (which is seriously the best movie of all time).  Anyway, Ana told my i should dress like Tom does in the movie to church tomorrow, and he dresses like a champ!  So i agree to and we finish the movie.
The next day i dress in my tie and cardigan and I'm not going to lie, i looked legit.  after church service Cece and i had a fun jam sesh at the park where she played for me some stuff she had written.  It was delightful!  Cece is a very good song writer and i think she should record some of her stuff and put it up on facebook so more people can hear.  I also played some stuff for her then we went off to meet my mother at Corner Bakery.
Seriously as soon as we got there we realized that we were about an hour late getting over to Jono and Simone's house.  So we booked it over there where we chilled and hung out for about three hours.  After we hung there we went to taco bell to pick up some food then left to drop off Cece.
Now I'm home and sitting on my computer typing this and don't know what to do tonight.  I'm thinking of seeing if some people are free or maybe will just chill at home tonight.

Displeasure in the Work Environment

Displeasure in the work environment,
Who would have thought the world was so mean?
It doesn't seem like a proper punishment,
When it was she who hurt me.

When we were young we learned to love on another,
We learned to tell the difference between wrong and right.
Then why in the end do we hurt our brothers?
When we should be ending this fight.

Apparently we all wear masks even though we shouldn't,
Throwing insults back and forth without seeing the trend.
We go on pretending change is something we couldn't,
Though there are many hearts that need a mend.

Gym Jam 2011 World Elite

So I decided I want to make a blog!  No one will probably read it and I will probably write in it like one or two times but whatevers, I’m going to do this anyway...

So January 19, 2011 goes as any Wednesday usually goes.  Lazy day, play guitar, the usual.  That was the case until the faithful moment I log onto the ever so useful FACEBOOK.  I noticed a friend of mine post about a gym session that was going to be the following day (I’m talking a gymnastics gym, not a weight lifting one.  Weight lifting gyms are for pansies).  So right away I’m stoked because I missed my usual gym sesh the Tuesday before.  My excitement went to the roof when I not only found out it was free but that it was a huge jam hosted by WFPF (World Freerun Parkour Federation).

I start to look into it to find out all the info I can before hand and I come to realize that three of the world’s top athletes were going to be training at the jam.  These names consist of Phil Doyle, Ben Jenkins, and Oleg Vorslav (aka the Russian climber).  I immediately started calling buddies of mine to see who wanted to go train at a once in a lifetime environment and after numerous rejections I got a couple of friends to go.

The jam was everything I expected it to be.  Very skilled men were training there in the gym I train at every week!  Everyone was really chill too and more than happy to give pointers and help you out with whatever move you were working on.  It was also cool cause I ran into an old friend there who I cot to jam with a little and meet his friends.  The night was filled with a large number of high caliber freerunners and live DJ's to make it a never forgettable experience.  By the end of it I had nailed my flat ground side flips, round offs to back tuck, and a failed attempt at a gainer off the tumble track (knocked the wind out of myself in the attempt).

The way back home was great to talk about everything we had done there and had landed.  I can’t wait till the next jam which should not be in too long if I am correct?  Maybe next time I will stop eating it so bad on my fall front flips.  Good luck with that =P
